Welcome to the World at Home!
The World at Home offers parents opportunities to extend their child's learning through
brief activities that are voluntary, fun, and fit into the busy lives of families.
The World at Home recognizes 3 fundamental assumptions:
Children learn all the time, everywhere; at the center, at home, and all points between.
Parents are children's first and most influential teachers
We are all in this together, preparing children for success in school and life
The World at Home provides a database of activities for infants through school
age children to do at home with parents, many that naturally flow from everyday life.
The activities cover the curriculum spectrum - language, science, math, social skills
and so on. You will be able to draw off of this database to extend what is happening
in your homebase. You may also submit activity ideas to share with all of our faculty
and families around the world. To look for examples of World at Home ideas click
